So, I’ve been learning a lot about the power of prayer. Now don’t get me wrong! I know prayer is powerful, but to be honest I almost thought that the work of mission work was somehow more powerful than the work of prayer. Prayer is an action in the spiritual realm, that we understand some, but we don’t see it. We see what we are doing in the physical, but when we are praying, we don’t fully see what is taking place. With that being said, we have to completely trust in the Lord with what He is doing with prayer, not what we can see with what we do with our own hands.

We need both prayer and action to build the Kingdom of God. But, I know that prayer is definitely one that is often times neglected. I believe one of the reasons being that we pray in secret, where action is often times seen by others. God rewards what is done out of a humble heart of obedience.

I will be honest. At the beginning of the year I was given the prophetic word “warrior.” I often times thought it might just mean in prayer and I was a little disappointed. I now know that it means warrior in a lot of different avenues, but how dare I think that prayer was not as important. It is the most beautiful thing that was given us at the cross. Communion with God.

I‘m so grateful for prayer and the hand of God that is moved with it! Speaking of prayer...

Praise...

We will be going to the Dominican Republic in a couple weeks!

The Lord is continuing to show up in such beautiful ways!

He is teaching me the importance of prayer!

Request...

My back has been in terrible pain. Pray that it either goes away, or that I see what God is teaching me during this time and that is to receive help from others.
