Hello friends! I’ve had the privilege of writing Chapter 4 of our amazing adventures in the Dominican.

I’ve had no expectations coming into the Dominican. I will say I’m always fearful of coming into ministries that aren’t actually living out of a heart of love. I wonder if people go in thinking they will be the western saviors, instead the messengers of Christ.

So, with all that to say, as we have been working with “Until they Know”. We have been going into communities with the idea of building relationships and praying for people. It seems to me like a much more humble approach than going in as the Saviors.

Now, don’t get me wrong. There is a place for helping the poor, and aiding those who are in need of relief. But, when you look at the life of Jesus He went into places building relationships, going to weddings and making people feel loved. His agenda was winning souls, not giving every day life improvement. Their life improvement was having the Holy Spirt, the Body of Christ snd the joy found in Him.

I love everyone. Look out for the next blog, Chapter 5 from lynnealwilliams.theworldrace.org
