As some of you know I’ve had some changes to my trip. It has been moved to January and the Training Camp is in October.

    One thing I have learned this year is that I’m not in control. There is this saying that goes, “Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”-Reinhold Niebuhr. I have learned to accept that God is in control. I don’t have to worry. He will provide the funds. He will provide a way. He is the light and I’m simply following.

    Our teams t-shirts are possibly going to be ”Mission Impossible.” “With man it is impossible, with God all things are possible.” -Matthew 19:26. I’m excited to see what God is going to do through what seems like the impossible.

    In the meantime, I’m working really hard for my trip. I’m getting all the supplies and recently did a barbecue fundraiser. Hoping to do a few more fundraisers. I‘m just learning to be open to outcome (boto). Whatever happens, let it happen. 
 
   I’ve also been able to see some amazing people before my trip for a year. Some old friends from AL, my grandma, some childhood friends, and my brother and his girlfriend this year. For that I’m very grateful. 

    Anyways, I love everyone! Please pray for me and the trip.
